Showtime has released a trailer for Penny Dreadful Season 3 which sees. Yet again, vanessa is hunted by a creature ” since the dawn of time”. Really…was that not the plot of the second series? Anyhow, with a bunch of old faces and a handful of new, the most interesting new character to pop up, is Dr Henry Jekyll, played by Shazad Latif (The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel) who as we all know is a mad scientist that experiments on himself, becoming Mr Hyde. He sadly does not make an appearance in the show, but as far as I’m concerned, it’s always the “Classic” characters, such as “Dr Frankenstein” and “Dorian Grey” that make the show interesting. To Be honest..I hope that the creature gets Vanessa…so the show can move in a different direction.
