You never asked for it..but your getting it anyway! Curse franchises Ringu (The Ring) and Ju-On (The Grudge) are going head to head in what is being named Sadako vs Kayako. The film will see the restless spirits going head to head in a “grudge” match, that will be unlike anything we have seen before.
Whilst I’ve never been a huge fan of either series, the idea that these two iconic spectres duking it out is actually quite appealing too me. Although, you may need to wait a few years before the inevitable american re-makes, which i’m sure Sam Raimi would love to milk dry.
Director of controversial torture porn flick Grotesque Koji Shiraishi is apparently the man responsible for the big battle, with film allrready in full blown production, due out in Japan early next year.
