Back in april last year, it was revealed that Fox was developing a remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Described as a reimagining of the cult classic, the two hour special is Tentatively titled The Rocky Horror Picture Show Event.
Lets Do the Time Warp Again!
Kenny Ortega, who is set to direct and choreograph has already cast several key members including Laverne Cox as the Transsexual, Transylvania, Dr. Frank-N-Furter. The biggest casting news to date is the return of stage and screen’s original Frank-N-Furter Tim Curry, in the role of the criminologist narrator. This comes as quite a surprise as Curry suffered a stroke on 23 May 2013, which continues to effect his speech and reduced him to a wheel chair. The news is a very welcome one and fans should be overjoyed to see Curry back on the big screen.
