Hello there my hellspawn! The highly anticipated sequel to Beetlejuice finally has a title! Warner Bros. Pictures recently shared a new poster for, newly named, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice to social media, and this may be hinting that a third film is on the way.

The poster itself is pretty intriguing, showing Beeteljuice still holding on to that looooooong ticket number in the afterlife waiting room. And as the text reads, the wait is almost over, as Beetlejuice Beetlejuice haunts cineams on September 6th. I can’t wait!

But what about that new name Beetlejuice Beetlejuice? For anyone that has watched the 1988 original, you’ll know that you can call Beetlejuice by saying his name three times. Can the choice of only two hint that a third, maybe final, film be on the ropes? Tin foil hat times!

And here’s a fun fact: the director, Tim Burton, confirmed on Instagram recently that they’ve finished filming. What a great achievement! It’s incredible to see the team come together and bring this movie to life, especially after all these years.

Oh, and if you’re curious, the film also features Monica Bellucci, Justin Theroux, Willem Dafoe, and Jenna Ortega from Wednesday. Such a talented cast!

One last thing that made me smile: Catherine O’Hara shared with People Magazine how she had a special moment with Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice in the new movie.

“I’d been in the first movie in group scenes with Michael, but in this, I had an actual moment where the two of us just… And it was just so crazy and thrilling, really to just be face-to-face with Beetlejuice.”

When asked about how Keaton looks at the ghost with the most. O’Hara joked…

“He looks the same, Beetlejuice has aged very well.”

How cool is that? I can only imagine how thrilling it must have been for her.

So mark your calendars because Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will hit theaters on September 6th. Get ready to shake up some juice.
