Scare Share News: Collecting, Campbell and IT: Chapter 2

by | May 7, 2019

Howdy Horror Fans, I’m just back from an epic Bank Holiday weekend filled with Marvel, morose and a little murder! No, I didn’t kill anyone, but I did catch the epic Netflix/SKY distributed Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile which I’d highly recommend. I also finally got around to catching Avengers Endgame, along with a few classic 80’s and 90’s horrors to boot. All great, but we missed out on some epic news stories, all of which we will cover in this early May edition of Scare Share News.

IT: Chapter 2 Trailer

just last week IT: Chapter 2 Producer, Barbara Muschietti, promised us that a trailer was on it’s way. And it seems so, as a teaser was spotted playing on the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square, New York, confirming that viewers can see a first look at the horror sequel on Thursday. Instagramer Shaun Watson dropped footage of the teaser, proving that the trailer will indeed rear it’s ugly, sharp toothed, clown face later this week.

Evil Dead’s Ash Will Not Be Appearing In Mortal Kombat 11!

Rumours that Ash Vs The Evil Dead’s titular character might be popping up on Mortal Kombat 11 have been quashed! The legendary actor Bruce Campbell jumped on the rumours after he posted a cryptic message over the weekend. He hinted of more Ash, but it’s clearly not what MK fans were hoping, as he posted the follow tweet.

Collector 3 Confirmed

We had all but lost hope for a sequel to 2012s The Collection, but franchise star Josh Stewart dropped a huge pleasure bomb over the weekend, when he hit us with a poster for the third film. Coming completely out of left field, but more than welcome, this confirmation means we may finally get a conclusion to the Saw inspired films.

More news as it comes Fans, but for now…I hope you enjoyed the long weekend, and we’ll be dropping more news soon!
