Saw X
Saw X is heading to a cinemas pretty soon, and we now have our first image and trailer which give us a little more clarity on what to expect in the new film, as Amanda returns wearing a brand new , much scarier, pig mask.
Amanda is one of many apprentices of John Kramer, also known as Jigsaw, took under hisd wing, with the ex-drug additct being the most prominant character that wore the infamous pig mask. So infamous, that even the video game Dead by Daylight featured Amanda as “The Pig” in it’s licenced Saw chapter.

The new image, dropped by the official twiiter (sorry X thingy) channel, shows Shawnee Smith returning as Amanda in Saw X, which will be a prequel that takes place between Saw and Saw II. The new film will feature John trapping a group of people who promised him a miracle cure for his cancer, only to scam him.
“Hoping for a miraculous cure, John Kramer travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure, only to discover the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable. Armed with a newfound purpose, the infamous serial killer uses deranged and ingenious traps to turn the tables on the con artists.”
The new film will hopefully explore the relationhsip between Kramer and Amanda , and maybe even fill in some of the other gaps from the SAW timeline. We’ll find out in October 27th when the film hits cinemas in time for Halloween.
Catch the new image along side the new trailer that shows (a much older and thinner) Tobin Bell and Smith return for the tenth trip into the deadly game of Saw.
