Doctor Sleep BTS Image for the Movie’s Most Brutal Death

Doctor Sleep, directed by Mike Flanagan, is the sequel to The Shining which continues the story of Danny Torrence many years after the events of the Overlook hotel. The movie is an adaptation of Stephen King’s amazing novel that hit shelves in 2013, whilst the film is an amalgamation of both the novel and Stanley Kubrick’s epic horror.
Doctor Sleep sees Danny helping a young girl named Abra Stone (Kyliegh Curran) when he discovers that the young girl is being hunted by a group of vampire like creatures that call themselves the True knot. Ferguson stars as the groups leader, Rose the Hat, and in one horrible scene from the film, the True Knot kidnap a young baseball player, played by Tremblay, and torture him to death. This new behind the scenes look shows that there are no hard feelings between to the two actors, as Tremblay smiles for the camera, caked in blood.
Intrepid Pictures shared the image on Twitter to celebrate Tremblay’s 14th birthday. You can check out the image below.
