Turbo Kid Prequel Explores Apple

One of my favorite films of last year was the 80’s styled post apocalyptic Turbo Kid. I have raved about it no-stop and have even been buying copies for friends and family (because they wont watch films without a little push).

One of the films stand out Characters was the delightfully hyper Apple, who mysteriously turns up with a dead body in tow without any explanation. Actress Laurence Leboeuf returns in her roll for this exciting short which sees Apple exploring the dangerous wasteland.

This musical short film, from Turbo Kid directing trio, François Simard, Anouk Whissell and Yoann-Karl Whissell, delves a little into her back story, showing just how engaging a character Apple is.

The Directors, collectively know as RKSS (Road Kill Super Stars), made the short for the track “No Tomorrow feat. Pawws”. by  Le Matos, who composed the score for the entire film. What a lovely way to say thank you!
