📜 SUMMARY
  • Len Wiseman says that plans for an Underworld TV show are still live
  • Wiseman has previously hiinted at a darker version for the show.

After the release of five successful movies, the Underworld franchise, led by Kate Beckinsale, made an exciting announcement in 2016 – a television series was in the works. Len Wiseman, the director of the Underworld films, was on board for this project. But what’s the latest update?

In a recent conversation with Entertainment Weekly, Wiseman sheds some light. When asked “Are there any plans to bring Underworld back in any fashion?” He replied

“There are plans being made… I can’t disclose much at the moment, but rest assured that there is a future for Underworld.”

A small, albeit positive update.

A few years back, in 2016, Wiseman had hinted of a different direction compared to the films, hinting at a grittier and darker story.

The battle between Vampires and Werewolves may yet continue! More news as it hits.
