‘3 from Hell’ Poster and Release Date
We have all been eagerly awaiting Rob Zombies third act of his Firefly trilogy, which started in 2003 with House of 1,000 Corpses, and the wait is almost over. For many of us fans, the third film is still an entity that we never thought we would see, as Zombie firmly wrapped up the story in his second outing in 2005 with The Devil’s Rejects. It was only when he took to instagram last year, that fans realized that a third film was on the cards.
Earlier this month, Zombie dropped the first teaser for the film, spotlighting the Firefly family’s return from what we thought was certain death. We know have an official poster and release date, along with information regarding a special three-night event.
“Check out the official THREE FROM HELL teaser poster!!!!! Also go to FATHOMEVENTS.COM for info on a special 3 night event!!! See 3 FROM HELL before anyone else!!! FYI this will be the UNRATED CUT of 3 FROM HELL! I REPEAT THIS IS THE UNRATED CUT!!!!!!”
According to Bloody Disgusting, 3 From Hell will hit 900 select theaters on September 16th, 17th, and 18th this year, with each date promising a special feature for fans.
“On September 16th, moviegoers will see a special video introduction from Rob Zombie with the first 50 attendees at each theater receiving an exclusive poster (while supplies last). On the 17th, audiences will be treated to a nearly 30-minute behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film. On the 18th, moviegoers will experience the ultimate double feature including 3 From Hell and The Devil’s Rejects.”
Zombie pitched in with a further remark.
The journey of these characters has always been special to me and I am thrilled to finally let the fans experience the next episode of the Firefly madness. This project was a true labor of love for everyone involved and we know we have created something amazing for the loyal followers of these films. Let the insanity begin!
Sadly, no other release dates has yet to be confirmed outside of the US, but I’m sure we’ll hera more soon.
