Alien 9 Movie Synopsis Revealed
20th Century Studios shared the official plot synopsis this week, along with full casting, confirming that film is pretty much ready to go, and will start filming in Budapest on March 9.
In this ninth entry in the immensely popular and enduring film series, a group of young people on a distant world find themselves in a confrontation with the most terrifying life form in the universe.
Dropping the complex mythology that both prequel films Prometheus (2012) and Alien: Covenant (2017) draw out, the new film looks to go back to basics, with a group of people being hunted by a xenomorph. This might just be the smarted move the franchise could make, thanks to the awful Alien vs Predator films and the fore mentioned prequels pretty much sinking the franchise onto the ropes. What we really need is a change in direction, and maybe a return to form.
The new film will star Isabela Merced, Cailee Spaeny, Archie Renaux, David Jonsson, Spike Fearn and newcomer Aileen Wu.
More news soon.
