Cursed VHS Horror ‘Video Nasty’ Calls Seth Rogen

by | Nov 12, 2020

Seth Rogen spends a lot of his time these days producing writing and evening directing, so it’s no surprise that he would jump two feet first into a cool new horror film for Lionsgate, especially considering it’s a cursed tape movie set in the 80’s.

Announced by Variety, Lionsgate has acquired the horror spec script “Video Nasty” which is being produced by Seth Rogen’s Point Grey and Greg Silverman’s Stampede Ventures. This dual production will use the killer script by Chris Thomas Devlin, which centers on three teens who rent a cursed VHS and are pulled into an ’80s slasher movie that threatens to trap them forever.

Well take my money already, I’m IN!

It’s very early days for the production, but we’ll bring you more when we dig it up!
