Derry Comes to London in ‘IT Chapter Two: The Vaults Experience’

If you ever wanted to visit the dark, dank, sewer or Stephen King’s fictional town of Derry, well prepared to be excited. For a select few lucky people in London, England, you’ll be able to take part in a special promotional event taking place in London Waterloo’s vast Vaults, celebrating the soon to be released IT Chapter Two.

Yes, the sewer of Derry stretch further than you think as this interactive event hits Central London in August. Set in a maze of disused railway arches under Waterloo station in London, the Vaults are now used for immersive theatre and alternative arts, and it’s here that Derry’s sewers are about to be transformed into a thrilling, and probably terrifying, experience.  The 11,000 square feet of space is being will be opens to explore on August 31st.  All tickets are Free and they go on sale on Tuesday August 6th over at the Warner Bros website, so make sure to set a reminder for this date. 

Coulrophobia sufferers need not apply, as there will certainly be a clowny vibe, as you enter the dreaded sewers. 

 

This August, thrill-seekers are invited to the ultimate immersive experience, based on the highly anticipated film IT CHAPTER 2, directed by Andy Muschietti and featuring an ensemble cast led by James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain and Bill Hader.

Taking over the expansive and atmospheric Vaults in London Waterloo, IT CHAPTER 2: THE VAULTS EXPERIENCE will bring to life breathtaking sets and terrifying scenes from the film in an epic and highly interactive adventure for movie lovers.

Spanning over 11,000 square feet of bespoke sets built into the vast underground maze of disused railway tunnels, the experience will let ticketholders follow in the daring footsteps of The Losers Club.
Open to the public from August 31, ahead of IT CHAPTER 2’s release in UK cinemas on September 6, the experience will combine nine themed areas where visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the chilling world of Pennywise the clown, and the dark underbelly of Derry.
