The Scariest Movie Of All Time

by | Nov 2, 2016

If you’ve ever wanted to know which film is the scariest, you’ve no doubt found a hundred different polls with dozens of results, making the whole thing seem like an impossible task. The problem is that films are very subjective, and not everyone feels the same way about them. Asking someone, which film is scariest is a little too vague. We ourselves here at Horror Land base scores on Story, Scares, Gore and Music, to give the films a more balanced score. We might love the film, but it’s score would reflect those four elements combined.

Step into the light a website called Reelscary, who aim to find the most scariest movie using three elements, Gore, Disturbing and Suspense. The website allows you to vote on films using three sliders, one for each of the elements, and creates an average score for each of the films. By crowdsourcing how people feel about individual aspects of films, you get a more honest outcome.

The site has already attracted thousands of users, and lists horrors both by their overall score and based on each section.

As of writing this article the scores look like this.
