‘Stranger Things’ Celebrates Halloween With New Poster

by | Oct 2, 2017

The new season of Stranger Things is perfectly set in the spooky period of Halloween, meaning that there will plenty of pumpkins, decorations and costumes for eagle eyed viewers to spot. And as Season 2 comes out over Halloween weekend, it makes it the perfect series to drop on the TV and binge-watch whilst you tuck into Halloween candy.

“It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.”

The shows third episode is called “Pumpkin Patch”, and that seems to be exactly what we have with the shows latest poster, which sees Hopper in a misty, upsidedown version of a pumpkin patch. With a dark foreboding moonlight shining through a copse of trees, Hooper appears to be looking for something, in the misty darkness.

Netflix have also released a bunch of retro styled posters, based on classic 80s films, in the run up to the shows premier. Can you guess which films the posters are based on? Leave us your answers in the comments below.
