The Conjuring 3 will Terrify in September 2020

by | Apr 3, 2019

There’s been a lot of cool news pouring out of the ongoing CinemaCon, being held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, and one cool horror nugget is about the further misadventures of the Warrens, proving that the Conjuring series is not slowing down any time soon.

The Conjuring 3 will be screaming onto screens September 11th, 2020 following two further films within the franchise that are due this year. Sixth entry in The Conjuring Universe, The Curse of La Llorona (also known as The Curse of the Weeping Woman in some international markets) is out April 19th and Annabelle Comes Home hits us on June 28th, both in 2019.

While the plot is currently being kept tightly under (bloody dripping) wraps, it has been confirmed that it will be based on another real-life cases that the Warrens investigated, following suit from the first two films. Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will both be returning as Ed and Lorraine Warren, and James Wan also returns as producer, but directing is handed over to Michael Chaves. Wan has spoken about taking the series away from the 70’s setting, so we could see a film set in the very popular 80’s.

So cool….
