Witch Survivor joins ‘Dead By Daylight’ for Halloween

by | Sep 29, 2021

Dead by Daylight just recently received a brand new villain in the form of Pinhead from Hellraiser. However, fans were left a little sad that there was no new survivor joining the roster alongside spikey headed cenobite. Many were hoping that Kirsty Cotton would be kicking back with the rest of the survival crew, but alas the bonfire gang were left to stand alone against their new foe. Not to let fans down, developer Behavior Interactive have slipped in a little something for Halloween. A brand new survivor has been announced in an expansion called Hour of the Witch, which will see spooky Teenage Witch Survivor Mikaela Reid enter the fog.

Whilst we have had our first look at the new survivor, what we have yet to see is Mikaela’s exclusive perks, which are additional skills that change the way each Survivor plays. Whilst Killers are generally offensive in nature, survivors generally fall into offensive roles, and their perks generally fall into survival territory. We may just see a change in that as Mikaela  is described as bringing “light and life to a realm of darkness and death.” . It seems that Mikaela may be able to use her witchy ways to help fight back against the killers. We’ll learn more as we move closer to Halloween.
