Don Mancini Shares “Chucky” Season 2 Logo

by | Feb 28, 2022

Just in case there was any doubt on Chucky’s future, creator and director Don Mancini drops a logo reminding horror fans that Chucky Season 2 is indeed happening.

BD spotted the following tweet from Mancini this weekend, that included a newly designs logo for Charles Lee Ray’s contained TV adventures. Yes, our favorite little killer doll will be returning in 2022 for more kills , thrills and a few more familiar faces.

“We’re thrilled to start pulling the strings on a second season of puppet mayhem with Chucky… Many thanks to our partners at USA, Syfy and UCP for their incredible support and guidance bringing Chucky to the small screen, bigger than ever. And to the fans, Chucky sends his still-undying thanks, and a message: ‘This isn’t over, not by a long shot. You better watch your backs in 2022!’”

The 2021 show continued the story that ended with Chucky’s 2017 film Cult Of Chucky, that saw original film survivors Andy Barclay and his foster sister Kyle tracking down the “cult” dolls as the very last one picks up a new friend and starts a bloody rampage.

The Synopsis reads

“After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies, and allies, from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster”

No news on dates just yet, but Chucky will be back this year.
