Back in Black! Game of Thrones Series 6 Poster.
If you think The Walking Dead has been trolling it’s fans, You know nothing! HBO have just upped its game by teasing the return of John Snow. A character we just saw killed off at the end of the last series.
Last we saw of Lord commander of the Nights Watch, in both the show and George R.R. Martin’s 2011 novel “A Dance with Dragons”, he was lying in a pool of his own blood, after being brutally stabbed by his Night’s Watch brothers. When EW asked showrunner Dan Weiss if Kit Harington‘s character was dead for good, he answered without really saying anything at all.
We would hope that after seeing the scene and the way it’s shot that the answer to that will be unambiguous in the minds of the people watching it.
As the next book is not even out yet, not even the most devout fans know Snows fate, with many suggestions that Melisandre could resurrect him. With the show returning in April, a little earlier than expected, it’s unsure if the the Series will be following the, yet to be released, novel due out at some point in 2016, or if the show will make its own path.
Will John Snow make a remarkable return to the show? It’s seeming more and more likely. Luckily, we wont have too long too wait.
