Lockdown Poster for Original Halloween!

by | Apr 22, 2020

Halloween Kills producer Jason Blum has embraced the lockdown with an update to the original films poster. The update tackles the ongoing 2020 coronavirus lockdown which has seen so many of us taking on our governments advice to stay at home.

Released in 1978, John Carpenter’ Halloween set the template for the entire slasher sub-genre, and pretty much paved way for modern slasher films. With the huge success of director David Gordon Green and co-writer Danny McBride’s 2018’s Halloween reboot, the next chapter (and even a third film) are already underway. Halloween Kills, the sequel to the 2018 Halloween,  has already put their baby in the can and the film is currently set for a Halloween release, with no current push back. The third film, Halloween Ends, will be shooting next year. These new films bring back  Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, as she continues to be hunted by Michael Myers.

Blum dropped the very current spoof poster as a way of supporting fans. Yep…stay home, stay safe, Love Horror!
