IT could be back on track?

Cary Fukunaga had been attached to direct two films based on Stephen King’s It since way back in 2012. However, New Line was considering making only one movie, due to budget concerns. Fukunaga, was adamant about making two pics. So these ‘creative differences’ ended up with Fukunaga leaving the project. And i’m actually ok with that. He does not have the CV you’d expect to see on such a large genre based film.
Luckily Mama director Andy Muschietti has stepped in. The word is that the adaption will still be split into two parts and that re-writes of the script are underway.
No word on who will be playing Pennywise, but Will Poulter could still be on the cards. I’m just super glad this film is still going ahead!
