Tobe Hooper’s Salem’s Lot  is an engrossing, riveting tale of suspense and horror set in an idyllic little town in rural America. Starring David Soul and James Mason, the film saw the town invaded by an insidious vampire plague. As film set in the dying light of the 70’s, the town in which the film was shot had a very strong 70’s vibe.
