The Thing – Infection Timeline

One of John Carpenter’s most loved films is the 1982 sci-fi horror The Thing. With it’s amazing cast, haunting score and use of particle effects, it’s certainly a film that has stood the test of time. The film plays out like a murder mystery, only without the bodies, as the alien entity kills and replicates the majority of the 12 characters throughout the film. You don’t often see the murder/replication happen, so the film keeps you guessing who is the thing.
