R/15 Rating for Jordan Peele’s ‘Nope’

by | Jun 29, 2022

We are  just shy of a month from the release of Jordan Peele’s eagerly awaited next movie called Nope, and it looks like it’s gonna be hot! The film, which releases in cinemas in in theaters on July 22nd 2022, has been handed an “R” rating by MPA and a 15 by the BBFC, which means that the film will be fittingly main stream horror.

The films synopsis reads.

Caretakers at a California horse ranch encounter a mysterious force that affects human and animal behaviour.

The Key & Peele comedian has quickly made a name for himself in cinema, thanks to hits such as Get Out in 2017 and 2019’s Us. His next release is sure to be juts as successful thanks to Peele’s use of suspense and horror that draws audiences in and spits them out with shocks galore.

As for what the film is about, your guess at this point is as good as anyone else’s. Thanks to a couple of trailers and a posters, most horror goblins have deduced an alien threat at hand, but knowing Peele’s tendencies to not reveal much pre-release, this may very well be a bait and switch move that will surely shock and awe in cinemas.

We’ll find out soon when Nope hits cinemas (only) in July.
