Stephen Lang’s ‘Don’t Breathe’ Sequel Wraps!

I’m wrapped! A splendidly rugged shoot. Thank you Belgrade. All health and safety protocols observed to the letter. Well done all! #@DontBreathe #@DontBreatheMovie pic.twitter.com/u8CUBIBCVc

So it looks like Lang is reprising his role as the unmade “Blind Man” in a film written by Fede Alvarez, who wrote and directed the original. Alvarez had previously mentioned, back in 2018, that the script had been finished, but the quick turn around production during Covid is a real treat for horror fans.
Talking of Covid, Land was quick to point out that “All health and safety protocols observed to the letter”, which is great to hear.
Stepping into the big seat is Alvarez’s writing partner Rodo Sayagues, who co-writer of Don’t Breathe and Evil Dead. This film will mark his first directing credit.
There is no official word on story or synopsis just yet, but I’m sure that will come in time. The original film saw Lang’s character fighting off a bunch of thieves, only for the thieves to discover a dark secrete in the basement.
