Chaotically Evil Creatures - Alien

The Xenomorphs are portrayed as intelligent ferocious hunters. However, the films never manager to explain why they are so intent on killing everyone. Whilst some would claim that they harvest bodies for the Queen, most of the films take place in a queenless environment. These creatures kill purely for the sake of killing making them lethal weapons of mass destruction.

“If those things get back here, that will be all. Then you can just kiss it good-bye, Jack! Just kiss it goodbye.” – Lieutenant Ellen Ripley

Chaotically Evil Creatures - Maximum Overdrive

As the Earth passes through the tail of a comet, previously inanimate objects suddenly spring to life and turn homicidal. The vehicles even show signs of intelligence, communicating with the survivors on several occasions. As intelligent beings, their actions of mass genocide could only be explained to be rampageous and evil.

“So, they send in their interstellar housecleaners. Send in their broom. Sweep us all up. That’s what this it is, it’s a broom. Using our own machines to sweep us right off.” – Bill Robinson

Chaotically Evil Creatures - Troll 2

The goblins from Troll 2 exist in a social and hierarchical society ruled by a queen, but they primarily seem interested in eating humans. They turn their prey into green vegetable goo, by tricking people into eating poisoned food. Generally, intelligent species can control their eating habits, which means these creatures are purely evil for evil’s sake.

“They’re eating her… and then they’re going to eat me… OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!” – Arnold

The Witches – Witches

Chaotically Evil Creatures - The Witches
The witches in the same named filmed, have a an irrational hatred of children, to the point where they would happily see them all wiped out. Considering that even Witches must have grown from children, wiping kids out would only server as a chaotic end to both human and witch kind.

“Witches of England… You are a disgrace! Miserable witches… You are good-for-nothing worms! Everywhere I look, I see the repulsive sight of hundreds, thousands of revolting little children…” – Grand High Witch

The race of Djinn, in Wishmaster, are demonic beings with great power, who wish to reign over the Earth with pain, death and destruction. The last earthbound Djinn needs only to grant three wishes to open up the portal to his race, and he purposely misconstrued wishes to create chaos and torment.

“Once, in a time before time, God breathed life into the universe. And the light gave birth to Angels. And the earth gave birth to Man. And the fire gave birth to the Djinn, creatures condemned to dwell in the void between the worlds. One who wakes a Djinn shall be given three wishes. Upon the granting of the third, the unholy legions of the Djinn shall be freed to rule the earth. Fear one thing in all there is…fear the Djinn” – Djinn Legend

Killer Clowns From Outer Space – Clowns

Chaotically Evil Creatures - Killer Clowns

The entire race of aliens from Killer Clowns From Outer Space are purely evil. Essentially being ugly space clown vampires, they visit earth to package they latest taste sensation, Earthlings! However, rather than just capturing the poor towns folk, they wander around tricking people into more and more gruesome deaths, laughing maniacally as they do so. They enjoy the statistical nature of killing, and find the whole ordeal quite humorous.

“There’s clowns going around killing people. We’re all in danger.” – Mike Tobacco

Gremlins – Gremlins

Chaotically Evil Creatures - Gremlins

Spawned from Mogwais, the green skinned Gremlins are inhentrinetly mischievous. The novelization explains that the Mogwai were a failed attempt by alien scientists to create the perfect companion. Whilst Most Mogwai turned out to be dangerous, the rare few who turned out right like Gizmo are called “Eternals”. The gremlins thrive on chaos, seemingly for entertainment sakes. They are crafty, spiteful and often deadly. They have no moral code and can’t be reasoned with or controlled. The Gremlins are Chaotically Evil Creatures, and deserve out top spot on this diabolical list.

“So if your air conditioner goes on the fritz, or your washing machine blows up, or your video recorder conks out, before you call the repairman, turn on all the lights, check all the closets and cupboards, look under all the beds, ’cause you never can tell. There just might be a gremlin in your house.” – Rand Peltzer
