Under The Dome Cancelled

CBS have called time on their TV adaption of Stephen Kings Under the Dome. Variety reported that the series will conclude with the shows final episode “The Enemy Within” airing on Thursday, September 10. It will be the 39th Episode and conclude the series story.

The series saw the population of small town Chester’s Mill, trapped under a huge invisible dome.

Being a huge Stephen King Fan, I had high hoped for the series, Based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel, however, after the first series, I struggled to get to excited about keeping up with the show, and sadly missed the entire second series. To hear that it’s coming to an end gives me mixed feelings. Whilst I’m glad the show will get an ending, it may not have been the ending the shows producers were aiming towards. Whether the series will conclude similarly to the book is anyones guess.
